Greenhouse question: to diffuse or not to diffuse?
Comments (9)Well, I am not on the East Coast, but in the Midwest, heart of Illinois and I use a Rion, have had it for a few years now & so far, so good as far as lighting. Yes any greenhouse will cost to heat, but least yours will be rather small compared to many. Here is a link that might be useful: Here is mine all wrapped up for winter...See MoreWhat is a Heat diffuser used for?
Comments (6)I have some nice simple diffusers I had made years ago. They are simply round pieces of #10 steel plate about 12 inches in diameter. They worked like a charm for years till copper cookware was purchased. It is even easier to cook with the copper. A low flame on a 10 inch saute pan will simmer uniformly over the entire bottom of the pan with no hot-spots. In a restaurant kitchen were you make the same thing over and over with a lot of attention stainless pans are cheap and work fine. In a home kitchen with multiple other tasks to perform during the cooking of any single dish the thick copper is worth the cost (and weight)....See MoreHow do I use this reed diffuser?
Comments (12)Yes it is. It depends on the quality of the product. Some are just very overwhelming. The better ones are milder and less in your face. The actual scent makes a difference too something very sweet smelling is not as appealing as a milder spice or earthy scent to me but I can't use them much these days because I have scent allergies and too many of those set me off. You can use safflower oil to thin down the scented oil that came with the diffuser kit. People that make homemade oil use it as a base oil. Do not use mineral oil or any type of petroleum based oils or oils that become rancid....See MoreTell me about the amora diffuser...do you have a good one?
Comments (15)Edited to correct. Ours was made by HouSmile. Anyway, I would just look at highly rated ones on Amazon that are the size/capacity you need and go from there. Here is one I found that appears similar but has a taller vent than ours. https://www.amazon.com/BZseed-Aromatherapy-Essential-Humidifier-Ultrasonic/dp/B07CZDNPPY/ref=sr_1_17?ie=UTF8&qid=1550255268&sr=8-17&keywords=oil+diffuser+by+amazon&refinements=p_72%3A2661618011 this is a newer model like ours: https://www.amazon.com/1byone-Aromatherapy-Essential-Ultrasonic-Humidifier/dp/B0192VY4EA/ref=sr_1_10_sspa?ie=UTF8&qid=1550259522&sr=8-10-spons&keywords=Housmile+diffuser&psc=1 And btw, I am usually hyper sensitive to scents like perfumes, powders, room deodorizer, scented candles, exhausts and such, but a few drops of essential oil, usually lavender, don’t bother me at all....See MoreRelated Professionals
