Palatine's new catalog and help me with my order
Comments (10)I ordered last year: *Cinderella fairy tale - this has become really big and wide and flowered best in spring with sporadic repeats after that. * Pomponella- is growing quite strongly and flowers constantly *Flamingo- I like it better than Bride's Dream or Royal Highness. I think it's the perfect bride's bouquet flower. All the bareroot plants were HUGE. I advise any west coast gardeners to order in Fall because they don't always have enough orders to send out a shipment to the west coast in Jan-Feb. at least that was what they told me last year. Also, there are issues with cold weather in the East spoiling the plants during transit. Then you might have to wait until later when it's past the optimum planting time. I find my bareroots don't take off as well here in April as they did in the first months of the year. The shipping is expensive, but wait until you see your plants!...See MoreNew Flower Circus Roses at Palatine
Comments (20)Hi guys! I got three Kordes Circus Roses from a reputable eBay vendor that has all of the required agricultural certificates. (Just wanted to clear that up ) :o) That particular vendor had some very hard to find perennials that I wanted so I thought, 'what the heck?' Anyway, I got the cream, salmon and brilliant flower circus. They are all budding out now and they look like they are going to be small. I thought they would be perfect for the front of the border. Will keep you posted....See MoreNEW PALATINE ROSES !!!! Out of my way!!
Comments (176)Here's hoping the spring flush will be preceded by a very wet winter in California. My plot looks like a desert landscape with a few trees stuck in here and there. The squirrels have denuded the hillside and thrown tons of dirt and stones onto the concrete, and neither hubby nor I are any longer able to cope. I advise you all not to get autoimmune diseases because they will drain you dry. The one my husband has was unknown and unnamed until about five years ago, and my theory is that they are caused by a toxic environment and all the artificial substances we use, eat and drink which overwhelm the body's immune system and slowly destroy it. It's just another way we are destroying ourselves and the environment since sooner or later all that stuff enters the soil, water and atmosphere. Until they find out otherwise it's as good a theory as any, I say....See MorePalatine Roses has some new OGRs
Comments (5)Whew - gorgeous!!! I went back to my notes from a nursery near me - Port of Stockton Nursery, that is supposed to have it available. I didn't see it in stock when I looked last (but could have missed it amongst 200 roses). I'll have to go back!...See MoreRelated Professionals
