I have many of the same items but they are scattered around the house so it is a bit like a scavenger hunt every time I need something. Genius.

A kit?!?! That’s impressive. I was coming to say the same as rubyclaire. I have those things but they are in different places. I think I’ll consider putting them all together!

Yup, I need a bin also ... but I do keep cheapy lint rollers strategically placed throughout the house more a carryover from when I had dogs (one light colored, one dark colored) but it still proves helpful so I will continue to keep them stashed.

Most of these items are in our smaller linen closet. Sewing items are kept separately. No ”kits” but shoe care items are in a basket.

Im with Ruby. Similar items can be found anywhere in the house. I use manicure scissors for snipping threads. The sweater defuzzer is in a drawer somewhere. Lint roller and clothes brush are on a shelf in the closet. Shoes have to fend for themselves.

An extra sticky roller to remove cat hair - actually several of them. I do have a pill remover but I left that in MN. I also have a little device for pulling snags through to the wrong side. Since I retired I don't wear nicer shoes often enough to need to polish much. Our shoe cleaning/polishing kit is also back in MN.

My entire closet is about the size of your kit!

The only thing I have from your list is a lint roller, which lives in the mudroom closet so I can use it to remove dog hair as needed when leaving the house.

This morning I steamed two sweaters and pulled a thread on a sweater sleeve through to the inside of the sleeve, tied it off and snipped the ends. When I was working our housekeeper used to keep our clothing in beautiful condition and when she retired I did not immediately take over the task. When I noticed how shabby some things were starting to look I made it my business to figure out what was needed. Now I automatically do things like brush wool garments and hang them on a hook to air before putting them back on the rack., and going over my leather shoes with at least a conditioning wipe. In the summer I use gentle baby wipes on the insoles of shoes and sandals so they’re fresh for the next wearing.

So glad I'm not alone. Kswl - you could curate and market a similar kit. Seems there is an unmet need out there!

I throw whatever in the washer. (I wear NO wool, ever.)

I have a lint roller for cat hair in my nightstand. That is all.

Most of my clothes are wash and wear these days. Since retiring I rarely buy things that are dry clean only. Our social life can be nearly as casual as our 'at home' life anymore, so few reasons to really dress up other than an occasional wedding. I've even worn dress pants and jacket to a couple of memorial services recently and I was hardly the only woman there dressed in pants.

I don't have a formal 'kit'. I keep a lint brush in my vanity and a second in the laundry room (with new spares tucked away in a drawer). I have a lint roller for quick emergencies in my glove box of my car. I keep small scissors, safety pins, even tape for that bit of pants hem coming undone at the last minute in my vanity too.

I have a sewing table set up in what has become sort of a multi purpose second 'guest room'. Two sewing machines on a table and just anything that might be required to mend something. There is a serger in a closet but I've never been expert at efficiently threading it and rarely use it.

As for shoes, my kit is DH. I hand them to him and they come back with no dirt or mud - or deer poop which can often be found on my lawn - trapped in the ridges in soles, cleaned with a saddle type soap, very occasionally polished with the appropriate color polish. He's a little quirky about shoes, likely has more pairs than I do, and takes good care of them. (He can be a quirky with eyeglasses too, I've seen him take them from peoples faces, clean them, hand them back. He has a little plastic kit in his desk and keeps one in his truck with a mist, cleaning cloth and second black wiping (?) cloth. Made by Nikon and I think made for his binoculars originally)

I have a kit with the cool brushes & stains for my leather boots. Scotch Guard. For weather proofing my suede & sheepskin boots.

Note: I also Scotch Guard the fabric chairs. I just noticed a stain on my newish linen club chairs....a quick wet rag, came right off.

Most of those items are in a plastic bin in my bedroom linen closet along with more totes for DH's medicines, first aide and OTC medicines, a tote full of batteries and extra charging cables, and the ubiquitous 'junk' tote. My sewing machine and supplies are in a guest bedroom where I can l leave my machine open and whatever project I'm sewing on the bed. Currently I'm repairing my son's North Face vest that has several small rips and half the front missing - so I'm replacing the goose down with alternative down and instead of patches I'm adding an entire new front panel.

DH has a traditional shoe kit box in there too.
