Hi nicole, I used Lowe's software here, it just seems to do virtual colors better. 99% of the time I jot the paint colors in the photo name and this time I didn't do it. (They typically are not accurate to real life, best to find a color that works in virtual then find a real life swatch in that family and test it ;) I have PPG software and somewhere I have a PPG Fan deck (probably buried in my car somewhere, I've been working on a rental) and can verify for sure PPG software is not close to real life. This is pretty dark but I did my (small) upstairs bath in PPG Heliotrope four years ago. It's a smoky mid-level purple. Probably much darker than you want? A picture woulld be helpful. Is this a full bath? Master bath? It sounds like you are limited on the size of the fixture due to the depth of the soffit --- maybe 11-12" at most? Would it work to use a track lighting fixture?Here are some examples. We used one in our laundry room to try to get more from the single small fixture there. Is this over the vanity but has to light the entire room? How large is the room? Is there a way to add any other lighting -- wired, plug in -- any thing? Is there a power vent in the center of the room or near the toilet (is that in the same room?). You, can get a vent with a light or light with a vent, as the case may be. Don't get to scrimpy on the lighting. Even if your budget is tight, it is important to have proper lighting.

your electrical is buried behind the cabinet, that is illegal, sorry for the Karen moment, but that is a bit no-no, also very limited on what can cover that up as the wires will be exposed and the plate is not designed to have stranded wire run to it. Show me a top down view... I can help you but I need a more clear vantage point.

Pendant lights have a tough time meeting building codes in bathrooms. First, they must be damp rated. Second, they are prohibited for much of the bath area entirely. Can you explain the location better?
