Your Wish Lists For Santa?
Comments (10)Hi Mary, I haven't heard too much holiday music here yet, which is odd. Gotta love Joni! She's my go to for Hoyas and it's always neat to find one Hoya that you've been eyeing and she lists it on her monthly sale :D. I don't think I'll be ordering anymore Hoyas until spring, but time will tell. I enjoy trading with the folks here on the forum and they've all been wonderful. Hopefully, I'll be striking up some trades towards spring. Brad AKA Moonwolf...See MoreWhat is on your Christmas Wish List?
Comments (13)Hello Everyone, Sounds like we all have been busy!!! : ) K, I really am glad to hear that Plumeria are hypoallergenic!!! LOL...now i can tell the DH thats it is truly not the Plumeria that is causing the "eye roll.." LMAO. Maybe, its a "winter thing.." LOL... Seriously, i did the dance yesterday when i brought in another cutting from a friend when we had lunch! I thought that i was quick enough to place it upstairs with all of the other gems..but i was caught in the act.. : ) Its a good thing that it was small!! Thanks Peg!! Psycho is a wonderful choice, im sure you will have great success in finding a cutting!! : ) Mike, I know what you mean about all of the $ going for the kids, just wait until they get older...the price of each item only gets bigger!!! My kids are all grown and will be here for CHristmas, im looking forward to a fun and relaxing time with them. Enjoy your little ones..they sure do grow up way to fast!!! : ) Colors are a wonderful thing... Im sure you will have a few colors in your spring collection... Have a wonderful Christmas!!! Alex, I sure hope that your Pudica will turn around for you!!! How has your weather been up north? Sounds like your Plumies want to stay active... The ones that i have under lights and the ones just sitting in my great room are doing well. They are all still happy and with most of their leaves. I am just letting them do what they want. It is very interesting to see how all of the different varieties react to winter. Some are ready to rest, others dont want to be silent at all. I will just listen to what they want to do. I agree with wanting more colors... I also forgot to mention that California Sally is another "wish..." Nice to see you, how are your Palms doing, have you put up any protection yet? Qaguy, Love all of the pictures!!! You have certainly been busy!! All of your decorations look wonderful. I hope you are having a great turnout for your charity!! What a great way to help out..You and your wife have done a great job. I can undertand that she is ready to take it all down since you started in Nov. My tree is up, lights are on...but the ornaments will be on soon. Maybe tomorrow... Glad to hear you have a new camera. The old ones sure are easy to use, especially when you have had them for awhile... Mike, I dont know what to say, Thank you for that special post! You have truly warmed my heart... Thank you!!! I am very happy.. : ) My kids are doing well, Hubby has new "eye drops" LOL... Really, he is doing great and so is my Mom!! Thanks for your concern... The greenhouse will be fixed, hopefully soon. It has been a problem, but i have had some wonderful help!!! The baking is mostly done, and now i am ready to relax. I do have time off for the holidays and i am really enjoying the time with my family and with the joy of what Christmas brings... You have always been so generous as well, thank you for all that you do. I know that someone else has been a big help to you here on this forum. Very kind and generous as well! : ) Thank you for everything Mike!!! Merry Christmas to you all.. Laura...See Morewhat's on your kitchen wish list?
Comments (70)Thanks for thinking of me Cathy. I think the ones I have now will be enough to get me by until I find the ones I love... I don't want another intermediate set! I go to Big Lots every 6 months or so... great place for cleaning supplies. Some of my slotted spoons and spatulas came from there as well. Good place to buy them cheap since I always end up melting the handle or the business end of such things. Never paid much attention to the dishes, but I'll have a look next time just for fun. Thanks, Joan. I was wondering if I should just buy a few good knives instead of a whole set. I'm relatively pleased with my Farberware Santoku knife, but I did see a Henckles Chef's knife at Target for 30 dollars last night. How do I know if that would be a good one? I'd like a good chef's knife because I can rock it when I slice. Apparently, Santoku kives are made to be sliced straight down with, I want something I can rock easily. If I got a good chef's knife and a good paring knife, I think I'd be fine as far as knives go. Even though I can buy a whole set of nice knives, I don't want to spend excess money unnecessarily given this economy. I'd rather have the security of longer term savings! I know I wouldn't every knife in a set. I saw the Miracle Blade commercial the other day and was pretty impressed until I read reviews that they rust! I do love a good infomercial gimmick though!...See MoreSo what;s on your Christmas Wish list....
Comments (30)I had an external hard drive and loved it. I had it set for auto back up every 3 days. It worked flawlessly for almost 5 years. I now have an extra hard drive so no need for the Iomega. For Christmas this year, actually I'd like this present before Christmas, I'd like all the finish work completed in our home. I thought we'd be having a nice Christmas without sawdust but maybe we will celebrate for Valentines Day. In lieu of the woodwork.... I'd like a round bread mold. A Popover Pan. A extra vacuum. Several cutting boards, 10by12" or smaller. A mandoline. A folding step ladder with at least 2 steps. I need one that folds up as small as possible for easy storage but tall enough so I can reach the top shelves. A new potato ricer, mine is on it's last legs. Michelle...See MoreRelated Professionals
