Fill this blank wall -help (pics)
Comments (22)Those paintings are gorgeous! They really fit the room. The cherry blossom theme with the ginger jar lamps are perfect. Can you make a third one? It think they would really look nice having three of them in a tight row on the wall on the other side of the room. Even the two of them put together on the other wall will have great impact. Art that you create yourself is so much better than purchased art. I brings a joy to the heart to view. Since they are unframed and similar to the wall color hanging them together in a row on the larger wall makes a bigger statement than having them separate and hiding behind the lamps. "Anyway, I think I need something above the bed - maybe a starburst clock or something." No electronics over the head of the bed. Bad Feng Shui. It would be hard to view in that location too and you already have a bedside clock. Maybe a convex mirror like shown in your inspiration pic, but one more lightweight in feel. This one would mimic the brown branches and blossoms in the paintings balancing out both sides of the room....See MoreBlank wall needs help!!
Comments (16)I personally don't like anything on the wall above a bed. I just imagine it falling on me. I think you could use all 3 separately on other walls or above night stands. You really should have 2 night stands in a bedroom so each person has a place to put glasses and reading material. They don't have to match or be very large. Could you post more pictures that show every wall? Stand at the entry and take pictures of the opposite corners, then at the bed towards the entry. It would help to know more about the layout of the room than just pictures of blank walls. Is the door beside the bed a closet or the entry? What is on the wall that the bed faces?...See MoreBlank wall help!
Comments (11)Beautiful kitchen! Since you said 'classic and traditional', I was thinking that a beautiful wallpaper might work, maybe will a bit of silver to pick up on your fixtures/pulls. Alternatively, although you said you're not an art person, you might like prints of your favorite family or vacation photos (all in simple frames, not too many and not cluttered, in black and white always looks classic) or a cool map, nicely framed, if you're into geography or have a favorite vacation spot. Honestly, your kitchen is so pretty that I don't look at it and think "blank wall" - I notice all the rest of it....See MoreBig blank wall help
Comments (20)I like that! I personally would do prints all within a theme…. Like botanicals, florals, birds….just examples. Or if their is an artist where you can get prints, you could frame different prints from that artist. I did this on my stairs. I’m a cat lover. debra...See MoreRelated Professionals
