Is there an architectural element that can smog above the two top windows so the space doesn’t look so empty?

You should have just asked on your previous post that has so much engagement. Adding trim means removing the siding so the trim can be properly flashed, you’ve indicated you don’t want remove siding. Adding trim on top is a recipe for water intrusion.

Between the siding and the wolf graphite, you can end up with serious inconsistencies; ie: siding doesn't work with Mediterranean. You are past that point. You could incorporate modern and wood elements, but I would be seeking architect‘s advice. How far were you adding the siding? Can you add some stone and I would address front entrance, as portico is very odd; I would remove (won’t affect roof). Budget comes into play as well.

What is the age of the house? I am thinking 1910ish plus/minus. A big window like that was meant to impress because plate glass was a big deal. Do you think it may have had some leaded glass in it at one time? Here is a much more modest c.1910 classical revival house with overscaled Palladian window and here although there are divisions in the windows, they are painted dark to emphasize the glass area rather than the divisions.

The landscape is so lovely with the hills behind and you have a nice looking side patio. You should think about how you use it: who comes in the front door? how often do you use the side patio? How is the back slider used and the back door? Would you cut flowers or would you rather have something you don’t need to spend a lot of time tending? Do your children need a play area? Do you have a big dog or a smaller one — is the dog out all day or periodically? Will you ever have horses or other larger animals?

You could stain the concrete a dark gray. Brick or large format stone facing would also look good. A stone like this would look nice. Or one with more gray.

What this facade really needs is windows in those gables instead of the tiny vents. Double hung windows the same proportion of the second floor windows but roughly 2/3rd the size.
