How far did you go to get your stone countertop?
Comments (29)Everyone has been SO helpful. I am SO grateful for this process. If I was not caught in a bind, I would not have visited Westwood to stumble on the chance on finding my beloved beloved Mountain White Danby marble. Then my fabricator called the suppliers (VT Quarries) and they have slabs in the size I need (so I only need to purchase 2 slabs: yay), and they should arrive w/in 3 weeks! I also love the fact that I'm supporting local business (from VT - I've been to this quarry). As soon as I saw the Danby, I knew I that I have moved completely away from Carrara. The love for Carrara was gone. I really thank the Westwood marble and granite website. If it weren't for their pricing listed, I would have concluded that all Danby were out of my budget. So use the website to figure out what you may like... With my cabinets and medium stain flooring (but on maple instead): Mountain White on Left; Carrara on Right. See how grey the carrara slab is?...See MoreHow long did it take you to move back in to your kitchen?
Comments (10)When I did the kitchen in my previous home, I purged (I mean PURGED) before packing it up. Once the new kitchen was up and running, I had nothing in the kitchen that was not used. Now that we've moved and are doing another kitchen, the only difference is that some of what was previously in the kitchen will be in a hallway pantry this time (small apartment kitchen vs. house). Also, when I planned the new kitchen, every drawer and cabinet was specifically designed for something, so I know exactly where everything will go. I hope it won't take more than one or two days to unpack....See MoreHow did Dancing With the Stars go?
Comments (14)I was ready for Cloris to go weeks ago. And they know she can't do what's required of the participants...that showed last night during the group dance when she just stood back and jiggled a little bit. It's not fair that she's still there not having to do what everyone else does. It's time she goes. I didnt know that Julienne was having surgery. That should be interesting that Edyta is taking over, especially since Cody and Julienne have learned how to work together, bonded, etc. It's like he's starting over building chemistry with someone new midway through the show. I actually thought Brooke was still very good last night. I hope she takes it all the way. I'd like to see her win. Susan Lucci needs to be next to leave after Cloris. She could barely keep up during the group dance. She seems stiff and unsure. Warren...love him, he's funny!!...See MoreHow did I go from 12 to 18????
Comments (6)Allison, go to the plant swap and we will feed your new habit. Yes, San Antonio is not the tropics but some helpless addicts act like it with their choices. Me I am an aloe addict. Plumerias get too big for my wintertime space....See MoreRelated Professionals
