Thanks Mike!! That MG should be fine for your plant. I have used that before... In all fairness, I have had the plant for about 2 1/2 years. When I purchased it was a grafted one gallon pot. It already had a few branches on it. I do trim it a lot, as the tree is a very fast grower for me. I don't want it to get too big, so I prune mine at least twice a year. When I had the leafminers and all the damaged leaves, it never bloomed for me. Once I got the plant healthy, it bloomed shortly after. This is only the second time it bloomed. I'm not an expert on citrus...But it were my plant I would trim some of the top off, to promote some branching. But its your tree, so it depends on how you want it to look. All I can tell you is mine responds very well to pruning, and I get new growths shortly after which makes the tree fuller. I use slow release fertilizer on my soil(like Osmocote or Dynamite) and in the growing season I apply some liquid fish and 1/2 strenght of MG/chelated iron when my leaves starts to show some yellowing as a supplement(May -Sept). Lately I have been using it once a month to prevent the yellow leaves. I figured it would be easier to prevent it than treat it. Just make sure you don't use more than recommended, less is better...you can cut the strenght and use more often if you like.

Unless you live in the desert, stop watering and wait. Lemon trees don't go that cold with out damage. My guess is that it will come out next spring. Read what other have to say.

I wonder if that's what happened. For some reason I can't remember if the water spout showerd up before or after the trunk died.... Huh. I suppose either way it's evidence of health, that it managed to push out such a branch with such big leaves. I mean, it was as long as my arm and still growing when I finally cut it. Do you think there's a chance that this branch could branch out and otherwise act like a tree? I'd like a few more branches, and right below that one is the graft line. Hoping it'll make at lease a decent trunk, because there's nowhere else for branches to grow from! I'm not sure if branches in turn branch out much but that'd sure be nice.

Not worms. Not centipedes. Instead, millipedes. They're not damaging your tree. But the millipedes may indicate that the potting mix is too wet/moist.
