screened in porch deck floor

I'm needing advice on my deck floor. I'm adding on a large rectangular covered deck-715 square feet. It is on a second level and facing west. Im
Told in Nashville a lot of storms come from the west so I could get a couple feet of rain blow in even though the whole deck is covered. I wanted it to feel more like a room and not a deck and love the feeling of a solid floor. I see a lot of deck pics with to gue and groove floor but am concerned about water sitting on top and rotting the floor. Is
My only option regular deck boards? Some say you can sloap a deck with tongue and groove for water run off but being that my deck is so big im concerned the sloap would be too large and noticeable. It is 21 feet from the start of the back of the deck to the front.
