Hoping you are doing a railing at the top of the steps…. in that case i would treat the wood…to establish a permanent color and then have the door match that color …since you seem to have other accents in the area of the same material…i would treat them as well….

I think a lighter color would look wonderful, if they can’t be stained. Something in the family of your shutter color. Sophisticated and understated, not whimsical, for this stunning, elegant house. (This last one is Farrow & Ball Pigeon.) But I’m still thinking you should get a pro to figure out how to stain them. :) ETA: Your front doors are very clearly the entry point … I really don’t think anyone would be confused by the other set of doors and walk right past the front ones.

The siding is fairly new so I’m not looking to replace it with a new color at this point. If we keep the beige, what are your thoughts on the other colors (door, shutters)? I like the color you have, but, would prefer it be a couple shades brighter. I would also add some cushions on your chairs that have that color in them, and possibly a few pots with plants in them, and have the pots the same color.
