Am I the only one bothered by this minor inconvenience?

Is it just me or are foil and plastic protective coverings on food products now so thin that they come off in tiny strips and pieces rather than in one piece? Has anyone else noticed this?

I just spent ten minutes pulling small strips of foil off the top edge of a peanut butter jar.

If you have a minor annoyance you need to get off your chest, please share!
