Your favorite pink daylilies for deep south??
Comments (0)Hi, I'm looking for beautiful pink (Not a muddy pink, can be light or mid pink. I'd prefer the whole daylily not be "hot pink." I'd like evergreens and they need to be reasonably priced. I live in central Florida. Thanks so much for your help. I lost a bunch of daylilies from too much rain during Tropical Storm Fay last year....See MoreYour Favorite Dark Pinks
Comments (21)Growgirl, I second your nomination for Dragon's Eye! It's a great pink and I also have had mine for years and it will always be here. It just blooms and blooms! Since you already posted it I will select 3 more dark pinks I grow and love. But Dragon's Eye is definitely on my list of favorites. Celeste I love, love, love this one. And to think it was a bonus that I didn't think I wanted, that is until it started blooming. This is everything I want in a daylily. Hardy, healthy, sturdy tall scapes and great bud count, never fails to open perfectly. CASTLE CAMELOT FORSYTH FLYING DRAGON Huge blooms of pink Bubble Yummin' Mama I have a peculiar relationship with her....some blooms are a disaster and then most are spectacular....so usually I love her. The pink is just SO PINK and the blooms are huge and ruffled that I can't resist her. She blooms for a very long time here....See MoreFavorite Pink or Pink Blend good as cut roses
Comments (22)I planted Beverly last year, I'm not sure yet how much I'm going to like the blooms, but I do think they will be very attractive, I'm anxious to see what it does this year. It is one healthy rose bush and I believe it is going to be prolific, and it is very fragrant! Mine is on multiflora. Beverly is the light pink one in the middle....See MoreFavorite Pink Daylilies from 2020
Comments (52)Brad you are absolutely correct . Thanks for pointing that out . I have removed the image from the post . It is no doubt a result of either my dogs tearing up the tag and someone just plunking one where ever or tag was chewed up with the lawnmower and hubby found a loose tag and put it there . I will have to dig the plant up come spring as I have a name tag planted under every plant so I dont end up with a noid as a result of any mishap . I learned my lesson the hard way years ago so now I put a tag under a plant , plant tag in the ground at 3 oclock when facing the plant and the tag that you see as you walk along the gardens....See MoreRelated Professionals
