Fall decorating (I bought a pumpkin yesterday)

Do you decorate for Fall? Inside, outside or both? Fall is the only season we do any type of outdoor decorating - other than Christmas. I love the pumpkins, cornstalks, bittersweet, etc. I have just barely started our fall decor as we are still hot here. Ninety-one yesterday but I believe by week's end we will cool down a bit. I hope so as we have an outside wedding to attend Saturday evening! I add straw, pumpkins, curly willow, bittersweet, etc. to the vintage copper boiler I use as a planter. A few other pumpkins scattered about, a fall flag, a couple of pots of pansies and also autumn joy sedum. We usually add cornstalks to one of the landscaped areas out front and a big pumpkin there. I have a really nice clay, kind of tall pumpkin, that will sit by the door.

Inside all I do is swap out pillow covers, change up our bedding/bed pillows and add some new candles. Sometimes I will add one of the pale blue pumpkins (my favorite!!) to the table or the hearth. I haven't bought one yet but will! These decorations will last me through Thanksgiving and then I am one of those who will start the Christmas decor. : )

We take the pumpkins to the wooded area behind us and leave for the animals. We should be seeing more and more deer soon, as we have an abundance of acorns.

How about you?
