I took a double take as I drove by this rental apartment building. I am a bit impressed when property management/landscapers use a 'interesting' display for annuals at their buildings.
I really like Cleome, I occasionally pick some up in the spring if I need a tall filler. The foliage is particularly attractive, and nothing bothers them -- probably because the foliage smells like pot. LOL! For a shorter cultiver, "Sparkler" series is excellent, it more of a mid-height plant, not short per se but short in comparison to full-size cleome.
