we painted our whole first floor SW Blonde. There is so much light variations in the rooms, it looks like we used different colors. It was easier to paint everything the same. Now i wont forget what color we used, and the color variation due to lighting differences is enough so its not boring. We love the color, it is very versatile and looks good in all light. Its just a nice neutral backdrop with color. If you like BM Moore paints, we used Flowering Herbs in the hallways upstairs..it is a beautiful taupey green and looks nice where its visible to the the SW Blonde. In the past, Ive used alot of BM Bar Harbor Beige, which is my all time favorite neutral beige.

I can speak only to having done our master bath and closet, and it seemed crazy to me that the previous color was SW Accessible Beige (not dark) and we were redoing in BM Super White. The painters did not prime bath area before painting saying they prefer to just use the paint in more coats, which was absurd to me at $75 a can of BM paint! Took them 3 coats. I was responsible for doing the large closet and although I primed first, still it took two coats for full coverage. I would insist on priming 2 coats if necessary (and cheaper), matter of fact have the primer tinted to the room color might help too. I swear paint is getting thinner requiring more coats no matter what. I've used Behr, SW and BM and find this to be the case. Good luck to you!!

still a little busy. (who makes that Hawthorn model? what company?) here's what I mean by 'busy pattern' once installed here's a rustic type this one isn't too horrible, but it still has an obvious pattern mannington mills. this one isn't too bad but compare all of those to something like this. see what I mean? which do you prefer this is a nice taupe color that would work. its from CaliBamboo https://www.calibamboo.com/product-longboard-whitewater-white-vinyl-flooring-7902500201.html would match your taupe/gray wall colors you like

I like it. I might consider it as an alternative to SW Windswept Canyon for my office, which has a lot of light. But I could see it in our bedroom, too, which also has lots of early light but stays lit all day because our neighbors white siding reflects into our room. Our house is in warm beiges and browns so it would fit in well. It feels comfortable and cozy. I'll pick up a swatch and maybe a sample can.
