Letting tomatoes ripen indoors question
Being a bit neurotic about my ripening tomatoes getting eaten by animals/birds before they're totally ripe, I picked a bunch (Rutgers and Romas) and brought them into the house and let set them close to each other, but not touching. Well, it seems they all started to get rotten in various spots. Is this just an unfortunate "normal" when trying to ripen them indoors? Thanks.
