Queen's Anne's lace -- is it a problem?

I have a ton of QAL that has popped up in my pasture-turned-meadow, it's taken over an entire section along one edge. The QAL that has always popped up along the perimeter of my vegetable garden I've just left alone, as I know the swallowtails make use of it. But I'm wondering if this big swath of it out back is going to be a problem, if it's going to eventually choke everything else out. Should I get the shovel out and start digging, or just leave it be and let everything duke it out back there? I'm worried about it choking out the natives.
