In public - it depends. kat - having become rather majorly forgetful, and trying to fit an offspring recently become 60, and another about to become so, into his brain ... I can't remember how they were trained (about a generation and a half ago, actually). Maybe they weren't, at home, anyway, as neither has produced offspring. Rusty - having lived for 18+ years in the country about 6 mi. from a village and 12 or 15 from the city, a couple of years without a car or a driver's licence, and having done quite a lot of hitchhiking, I can't complain too strongly about having lost a lot of my ZING, it seems. Interestingly - over half of the people who offer me rides are female, very few of them young ones. More to this story - but I'd better make a thread to include it. I do Market Research.....yes I'm one of those who will call and get opinions on different topics. But that's beside the point. True story......one call a lady was upset that I called. She said I'm 67, and it's late and I'm going to bed. It was 7pm. The very next call was a lady who said, I'm sitting here with a glass of wine, listening to Il Divo. I'll gladly do your survey. She was 80. When I'm out with my friends I'm up on the floor all the time.....we have a particular band that we follow....groupies, if you will. So many people tell me how energetic I am, and that they can't keep up. Just last week, I was getting my ginger ale at the bar, and a regular bar fly asked if I was from Cape Breton (Nova Scotia). I said Nope. Are you from the East Coast? I said Nope. He said you dance like an East Coaster and it's fkng awesome!! LOLOL
