Very cool on the image searches! I have never noticed the camera. On the rug, you mention it's for an office. I hope there will be no rolling chairs on what looks to be a delicate rug. I would hesitate to use a white like that anywhere that gets much use. If shoes are worn in the house and the chair is on the rug, it can get nasty. Thanks so much, chispa! Just like having a personal shopper. I'm just torn between spending $$ on another relatively cheap chair and risking having to buy again in 5 years like we have to this time or spending $$$$$ (we don't have) for something that will last. I'm actually thinking seriously about what I said above in jest about buying 2 expensive chairs a year instead of 6 cheaper ones now. Oceangirl, I"m a total rustic look girl, but the RH deconstructed is too much even for me. Also, the chairs we have now are wicker and all the wicker has broken off, so they are already pretty deconstructed ;-) Not pleasant for guests. The other RH problem is that without one here I worry about if they come damaged and the hassle of returning (I haven't read great things about customer service). Do you think you'll get the RH ones? lishanna thanks for the Ballards link. I'm looking at those too. Funny you say they are tall. The reviews for the parson's chair complain t that they are too short.

Thanks Squirrelhaeven, That blue is a little bright I agree and It's fine for that room but I was going to do a paler one for the living room when I repaint as it's that same color. I was thinking yarmouth blue by BM as I have seen it on here in a bed room and it was lovely. I don't have any doors just opening that you can see into the kitchen, hallway, and sunroom. This is the sunroom at Easter thats why there is so many bunnies lol. I'm going to get rid of the rug and put new tile flooring down someday, blue/ gray state or whitish travertine looking porcelain tile, which ever looks better, we need tile as it holds up better with our pets. on the other end of my living room is my kitchen painted in the same red as the little couch I was trying to Tie the rooms together but I guess I failed horribly :( Should I look for a rust couch cover? rust that leans towards brown or OJ? I really like my curtain finials, but the rod is a little thin and I was wondering if putting the shell finials with a bamboo rod might give it a little more weight? I have this plate I got as a wedding gift from an art gallary, it has blue in it. and I can't find a stud to hang it on the wall. I got a wood sea horse at the coast and it was also homeless, I have ordered a black coral sea fan soon to be here to match the black pine trees branches in the plate. Here it is so far, I would love to put it on a coffee table! What kind of table should I look for? wood? Brown or black ottoman in leather? I know they say for a small living room it adds more room to have furniture with legs so you can see more floor and I agree but seeing as the living room is so small something with storage is appealing. I have a marine trunk but I'm not sure it fits in as it's old looking?

I say buy the set. Paint the chairs light or better yet, get an antiquing kit so you have some gold paint in the faux worn areas. Then lightly sand the table top to paint glossy or just use a tablecloth. Your kitchen looks like it's going transitional bordering on contemporary. I don't know about the rest of the house. If you wanted, you could go more eclectic in the dining room; depends on your layout & how the house flows. Better if you love it but I understand budgets. The 8 chairs alone might be worth the money given what basic chairs would be even at Walmart or Lowe's. Do what fits your style & family.
