Mocha-color finishing design on these lollies

Hi I'd like to know how to pull off a mocha-color finishing design on "stella doro" type lollies.

(see below pic.)

I have vintage recipes for white-glaze and choco-glaze. So its the latter type of recipes i want, rather than "royal" or whatever.

Again, i don't want "royal-icing" nor "frosting"

Rather just my basic glaze recipe A.K.A. icing

So FYI, my White Glaze recipe shown on below lollies is:
1/2 c. confect.sugar
1/4 tsp. almond extract
1 TB boiling water
Mix well.

Question:

How can i transform the latter recipe into a mocha color that's almond-flavor or mint-flavor?? Would the addition of a bit of cocoa work? If so, how much?
Because I'd like to aim for something like the below marbleized effect (atop the white parts of my choco lollies, albeit the marble-design should be a lighter brown color than full-fledged chocolate):
