Help with paint colours for Masterbed in new house
Comments (5)Hi~ I don't post much either, but I adore this site". I've learned so much and defined my tastes a lot through what I've learned from all of the wonderful people here. What comes to my mind for your master bedroom is Benjamin Moore's "Nantucket Gray". It's not so much gray as it is a soothing, grayed down green. I love this color and my husband really loves this color, which can be hard to do (finding a color that appeals to both sexes). It came to mind as you described what kind of green you might like. It's a color that's going in our new build, which is being painted this week. I could get a pic in a few days if you're interested. For your kitchen, I think you may want to check out Pittsfield Buff by BM. It's a beautiful color, again, the main color going in our new build. Also, by Duron is Plantation Beige or Tobacco Road which are neutral golden tan colors. Best wishes to you on your move- although it's a lot of work, I love the creativity that goes into making a new place your own. Comments (23)omg, Igloo, if I slept under a $14,000 sheet I'd never want to get out of bed! wow. Well, here's what I ended up getting. I ordered a set of Sferra sheets which were on sale at Horchow plus they had 20% off everything yesterday. Then I ordered a matelasse coverlet and shams from Pine Cone Hill. Everything in ivory. Finally I ordered a floral duvet cover from Pottery Barn -- not exactly high end but I loved the fabric colors, and I'm finding that the color of my walls is hard to match. I'm hoping the duvet works... if not, I can return it. I'm trying to copy those beds that have the matelasse coverlets with the duvet folded near the foot of the bed. Oh, I also got the shams that match the duvet as well. And tomorrow I'm buying a new mattress! You won't hear from me again because I'll be in bed all day......See MoreNeed suggestions for paint/curtain panels

Comments (54)I am definitely going to order the bath mat, too. I think I will enjoy the look of it as much as the feel. I have a terry one now, but this one would be nice. I would like to get a couple king size pillow slips just because I like having the extra fabric to completely cover the ends of the pillows. Will probably get the apron instead of the pinafore. I need to spread out my purchases, though. Oh, and I definitely need the bed skirt for the downstairs guest room! Jeepers, I could go on and on. Oh and I washed the sheet, summer cover, and pillow slips today. I put the sheet on the bed to dry and stretched and smoothed it. No need for ironing! It looks wonderfully smooth. I did iron the pillow slips. Looks so nice! The summer cover is rinsing now....See MoreRelated Professionals
