Kitchen Remodel

Here is a kitchen design that I did for a client. All the design selections are new to include flooring, countertops, cabinetry, faucets, appliances, door pulls, backsplash, lighting, etc.
To create this design, we took out the wall between the living room and kitchen and removed a small coat closet.
With the removal of the wall, we needed some type of support. There are rooms above the kitchen, so we could not hide a large beam/header above in attic space. Instead, we were able to incorporate columns into the design.
My clients wanted some extra storage space so we added cabinets in the breakfast nook. We also added a built in bench with drawers for additional storage. Placing the bench in the corner, also allowed for a seating area around the kitchen table.
Lastly, we gave the fireplace in the living room a facelift to update the materials and colors so that they coordinated with the new kitchen. The space came together beautifully!
