Gas plus induction range top

We are building in the mountains where our gas source will be propane. We love cooking on gas, and may be prone to power outages where a gas cooktop would be of value. However, we are also hearing that it’s tough on propane gas for a simmer/low cook as it runs so hot. Which got me to thinking about potentially combining a gas and induction approach. Had my heart set on a Wolf 36 or 48 gas range top. Is it crazy to put a gas range top and induction next to each other? Anyone done it? I keep hearing to just go to induction but love the look of the Wolf range top plus we like to cook on gas.
