maybe try the mirror over the cabinet (instead of the shelf) then a large piece of artwork over the bench. The cushion on the bench looks a little skimpy, I would do something twice as thick with a couple of pillows.

Very nice space. I notice that storage was mentioned in one of the comments. I don’t think you really have any storage issues. But just to note: the long, low console, that I posted above, has an open storage side shown; however, the piece features hidden door handles, and lots of closed storage, as well. If you read the description and reviews, you will get a sense of the closed storage possibilities. Also, as far as lighting: I think you may still be able to use your tripod floor lamp in the corner area to right of console, pretty much as you have it now. And if you want more light there, maybe a small lamp on left side of console. So a lamp something like this, or maybe bigger if you want, on left side of console. Your tree 🌲 looks beautiful, btw. Hi Mandy - reading my posts to remind myself what I was thinking last evening. Lots of input but I did want to throw some thoughts for you to think about on window treatments and quilts! I’m still liking ideas of the large ceiling tins on large wall next to TV & using Rub n Buff paint to spark up those tins. Here’s a link to see info Rub n Buff I also still think Family photo wall is a good spot for the arched piece with darker frame that you haven’t hung. And, adding a side table & lamp to the corner chair will make it more inviting to sit there. My thoughts on plantation shutters for windows - I like the look of those shutters but never wanted them myself for multiple reasons. The frames holding the shutter slats cover too much of the window glass & I don’t like folding the shutters back against the wall to fully uncover the glass. White, which I would’ve needed to use, is too formal looking. Darker colors are too heavy looking & wouldn’t go well in my home. Lastly, good ones are too much $$$. Instead, I hung inside mounted wide slat wood blinds. The slats are routeless - no holes for the strings holding slats. They sit in a ’cradle’ of string instead. I can raise / lower/ tilt slats for full view & light control & they’re a nice alternative to shutters. Good ones still $$ but not as much. They look good with or without drape panels or valances. Another alternative is woven wood or match stick shades. They aren’t room darkening & diffused light comes through them. Available in many colors. The wood adds nice warming texture to rooms; they can be inside or outside mounted & used with or without side drape panels or valances. Your lightweight drape panels would look great with either blinds or shades. Just rework the hanging of them to be straight panels at the sides & between windows. And, both blinds & shades will work for your fireplace side windows. My thoughts on your quilts. Lucky you to have them & a great idea to create a display! My mom was a quilter so I have some & treasure them. 2 are in use on beds & I have a big quilt rack my dad made which I display others. I have a small one draped over back of a chair. I searched how to display quilts and there are so many options. I like to see them spread out a bit so the colors & designs show more than if they’re folded & stacked up where only sides are seen. There are quilt ladders which are tall & very wide & rungs are spaced apart. Some are ridiculously expensive because of wood type but seems like someone handy with small wood projects could pretty easily make one. I like the cabinet you showed but for me the attention is focused on cabinet as furniture & not the quilts inside it. This picture is my small lap quilt on my reading chair in the corner - it’s what inspired me for your chair which looks like a big curl up in chair too. Side note - the window above TV is an antique - over 100 years old. My husband took all the old layers of paint off it & stained the frame. That’s the original window frame on it.
