I think the deck color and siding do look a little odd next to each other because they're close, but not the same. That's probably why you went with the darker deck color the previous time. If your siding needs to be painted, the deck color would be the way to go - that color does look like it goes with your brick. But if it doesn't need it yet I don't know if I would have it done right now. It could look worse - my next door neighbor painted his deck the wrong color last fall and it looks much worse than yours next to his siding. This has to be your call. Is it worth it to you to do it now instead of waiting?

Right now, there is nothing on the deck, so your eye goes to the color difference. Add some large pots of colorful flowers where the deck meets the house and the difference will be disguised. It looks like a great space. Enjoy!

I would not match your deck to your siding or vice versa. This happened to us inadvertently when we installed a trex deck. It matched perfectly and there was zero contrast with the house. It looked terrible. We ended up painting the house a darker color that complements the deck instead.

If your house actually needs painting, then I would pick one of the darker colors in the brick, not the darkest, just darker enough, to have contrast with the deck, which looks really good, I think.

Our siding definitely needs to be painted, and that’s our next project on the list We have enough colors choices to draw from in our varied brick tones but I’m just torn if I want to go with a darker colored siding like castle, gray, or boot hill, gray and my front door and garage doors are no very similar to the Woodbridge color trim. I like how my original siding color basically matched the brick!

One or two shades darker than your original color, will still go with your brick, but, it will also look nicer with your decking too. You do not want it to be too dark, so just enough for a bit of contrast
