Yes, I agree, blue. Try this: SW Searching Blue or Luxe Blue body color. The Searching Blue is nice but looks washed out on my screen compared to the rich Luxe Blue. Use your color cards. For staining, you need high performance fabric, no matter what color. Very dark fabric can show lint and dust. If you want gray, go for mid range color. What are the other colors in your home? I like greens. This furniture is over 20 years old. It's a finished basement, used constantly by my two daughters while growing up. Snacks always allowed. I held Girl Scout meetings down there! The color is lighter in person, a mid range sage.

Few questions. Are you happy w/this layout? Are the cabinets solid wood and in good condition? have you gotten a quote from a cabinet painter? How do they prep? Prime? Paint-spray or? The ONE thing I would for sure tell you to add is a fridge surround. Your fridge hanging out in the breeze really lowers the overall look of the kitchen. like someone forgot something. I agree with you - those colors aren't going to work unless you repaint the trim. Also, the cabinets shown on the edge of the picture are a warm color, so you need something warmer than Chantilly Lace. Do you really mean Dove Wing or is it White Dove? Go to the paint store and bring home a couple dozen chips of colors you like and look at them next to your trim and cabinets. Look at all of the whites and off whites in the OC series. I don't know whether you're planning on painting your whole house, but when I moved into my previous house I got the whole chip deck from BM to help when I was looking at colors. I am still using it now for my current house.
