What is this weed?

The leaves are not unattractive, but it has popped up in the middle of other plants in two far apart flower beds. It looks vaguely familiar but I can't identify it. It is trying to crowd out the heuchera in this photo.

Best I can tell from the photo is chickweed and POA Annua. The chickweed is pretty easy. A little Ortho Clover, Chickweed and Oxalis killer should take care of that. The POA Annua is going to be a problem. A few treatments of Tenacity should do it but the seeds it is dropping right now are going to give you trouble for several years. A good pre m plan and careful use of Tenacity should keep it under control.

It doesn't smell like celery - the closest scent that I can think of is a bit like chrysanthemum blossoms. I don't have a photo, but there is heuchera under the roses, basil was near, and also some columbine in the same bed. Christopher CNC, I just searched feverfew, and I do believe you are right! I suppose a bird or some other critter dropped a seed there (but who knows from where). Thanks!

Well, last winter it went to 9* for the low for three days and it still survived. It might be fall before I can dig out, but it IS getting cut down tomorrow morning. I do not want seeds. Although the birds might like it. I kept looking for grasses and that did not bring up millet, which is a grass, but I had to search grain for it to come up.

The silver veining and conduplicate leaves shows Geum canadanse. The markings on Hydrophyllum virginianum look more like paint splotches

Thank you all. I found a photo of Geum Canadanse that look identical to mine, with the silvery-blue-ish coloration of the bottom leaves and silvery veins.

I did see mentioned that it grows with a tap root - but the one (a larger one than in my photo) that I dug out didn't have one, or at least not yet - it had a thick mat of fibrous roots.
