Fireplace wall design help needed
Comments (1)Why wouldn't you put them both centered on the wall? You don't say what size fireplace you are getting but once you get the firebox installed and stone/tile around it you will probably close to 7 feet for any reasonably sized fireplace. If I did the fireplace on the side with very little tile around it, I would use the other side for a tall shelf and still center the TV above the FP. Personally I don't think putting a TV above a heat source is a good idea, but that probably depends on how much you use the fireplace. If you have the fireplace picked out or any drawings of what you are thinking about, post them here so more people can help you. The more details you can offer the better feedback you will get....See MoreUneven Wall Design Help
Comments (5)This is a help...it seems to me that the most effective way to enhance the space would be to paint the recessed wall in a slightly darker shade..adding a little architectural accent...no shelves ...but definitely treating each section differently...pull the couch away from the wall a little... if possible center the couch on the wall change and use similar art pieces centered on each side of the couch...choosing art to go with each wall color but matching in size and similar in style...hang rectangular shape art vertically with top of art not too much higher than top of tv...this will enhance the higher ceiling ...add to a roomier feel in the room....the monochromatic color scheme will also add to the spaciousness..by not stopping the eye on every feature in the room...if you are a little more adventurous ...a bigger...more colorful rug ...and the recessed wall in a color from the rug...will bring a little more life and excitement to the space...See MoreEntryway Wall Design Help!
Comments (1)This is the only wall I see large enough to support a table and mirror. I'd recommend a Demilune table for this small area. The issue will be selecting something that isn't too wide for the wall area....See MoreFireplace Wall Design/Art Help
Comments (6)So beautiful!! It’s quite special and wonderful. Whatever you decide to do, I hope you don’t paint or alter that gorgeous brick. I agree that a more saturated color would be an easy place to start, although I love it as is. Maybe just some original artwork…...See MoreRelated Professionals
