Dianthus White Edges on Leaves

I planted my first Dianthus in a garden bed. The three plants that are all Dianthus Constant Beauty "Crush Cherry" have white edges on their leaves. Other species are looking very healthy. The first photo is an example of the problem plant. The second photo is one of the healthier-looking Dianthus varieties. What would be the typical cause for the white edges I see on the leaves in the first photo?
