Upstairs bathroom help!

Hi! I need help deciding what style mirror and sconces for above the console sink. All fixtures are kohler artifacts polished nickel.

Sounds like a good idea. Now, consider one sink instead of two. They will almost never be in there at the same time, and even if they are they'll be bumping elbows as they brush teeth and mousse hair. But they do each need their own storage space for orthodontia and "health and beauty aids". So one sink gives them more counterspace and more drawer storage, one whole bank each. Would you have a window? Even a high window for privacy over the toilet would still bring in natural light. in bedroom 3, consider either taking the closet to the wall, or swapping the bookshelf/desk space to the other side. I worry that tucked in the corner a desk will become a dumping ground, and bookshelves would be tucked deep, not so conducive to book-browsing.

Ya'll keep bringing up cast iron pipe. I don't live in one but $800k plus homes are being built all around me and not one has cast iron. What I see them using in mid to upper end homes is double wall,foam filled dwv in floors, walls and ceilings. I actually couldn't locate a plumber two years ago with tools to replace cast iron in an old rent house I own. I wound up using no-hubs to splice in plastic. What part of the country are ya'll in and is cast going into new construction or do plumbers carry tools and a few joints on trucks just so they can make repairs?

Water leak from upstairs bathroom shower spout to downstairs

That happened at my sister’s house. It wasn’t every time, but totally random. Finally discovered the spout had not been caulked or silicones by the plumber. Leaking depended on where exactly the bather stood and splashed water on the wall. Silicone around the faucet/tile meeting has solved the problem. I hope yours is as easy.

Is this a bath or powder room? If there is no other storage a wall insert medicine cabinet would help for extra soap, hand lotion, air freshener, or if a full bath then toothpaste, etc.

It looks like you have a lot of space around the sink. We need more context to understand the space, and I can't say I understand your style from just this picture either. You can use black or more polished nickel with this, but there is a wide range of mirrors to choose from. Do you want to lean traditional/classic, or more modern?

I've longed for your beautiful (and expensive) Kohler sink during past renovations. Here are safe choices that will go well with your sink. If we have more info about the rest of the room and your style we could make other suggestions. Without more info, these feel like good matches. If you do not need a medicince cabinet, you could find a more decorative mirror.

Your vaulted shower ceiling is incredible! The rest of your bathroom is not quite as traditional as the console legs and faucet. Not a bad thing at all. I just think you can go a bit more casual on the lighting if you want.
