...because I don't want to do a new topic just to show one pic. What about a theme, like Funny!

My almost new DGD turns 5 tomorrow and on Sunday they baked a cake and celebrated. I couldn't be there so my almost new DIL sent me a pic of the cake. DGD only wanted a pink cake. The two of them along with my 13 yr. old DGD made one that will go down in the annals of cake making history.

When DS walked into the kitchen and saw it, he said, "We better hurry and sing Happy Birthday."

I would SP: Chicago Peace--think it is just a dud bush--scrawny. Color Magic--ditto to Chicago Peace Cabana--Good bush, flowers are only striped for 1/2 day then just a muddled mess. Not attractive at all. Chris Evert--Second year bush is disappointingly not growing at all. One bloom all year so far. About Face--Great bush, consistently the ugliest blooms in the garden by far--raggedy with no form or fragrance. These 5 are safe for the remainder of this year, but next Spring they better watch out if there is no improvement. It is a good thing I don't have any in the pot ghetto ready to transplant to any of these garden spots!! John

Heres my Kallie, a rescue from a kill shelter in North Carolina. She was about 3 months old when rescued. She’s turning 6 in January. And here's my boy Spencer who we lost a year and a half ago. Still miss him every. Single. Day. And this page wouldn’t be big enough to hold all those pups we’ve had in our lives during our almost 50 years of marriage. KC, is that what happens when you go to India? Ha. Remind me to go soon. I love it. By the way, I hope the kids are all doing good for summer. Glad you are back safe to))) Post a couple of pics of India if you don't mind. I sure dont! What a bunch of great looking sweet tomatos! I'll bet that bowl smell great). Just how big is your yard to get all that? Wow Evan, will you get nice fruit off that tree? Will they be sweet? You lucky thing you!! Between the heat and the amount of different kinds of trees you can plant, I wouldn't mind living near you. In fact, you would be my best neighbor my friend. You always have the most beatiful trees. By the way, I would of thought that tree was dead when first planted, it must of been dormant because boy did it come back nice. Good to see you again too. Julian, it's great to see a new face around this forum. I wish you would be a part of the fragrant and orchid one too if you have any of those. I can imagine what you are growing in your yard. I love that area. I have not been there since before the hurricane and I assume it must be all rebuilt now and thriving. Fantastic pictures and thank you for sharing. Please stay around and share more often. In fact, I really like Floridians. I hope to visit soon again)) NIce pots too. You must love living there minus the humidity.

Terriks, good to see you btw, when I opened the picture it wasn't what I was expecting to see. I laughed so hard and for a long time.

I agree Oly, but I do love a good bakery cake.

My brother Mike's 3rd birthday May 28

I don't know who made the cake. Notice that my sister ditched her parasol, but I did not. My mother also made a video of this, with Mike trying to bite the head of the doll that is on the table.

Lars, what a great picture! Look at the tractor sitting on the corner of the table. I bet that was a prized gift!

After looking at my picture a few times, I noticed something in it by coincidence. On the back wall between the pantry doors is a sign that says "Enjoy the little things." The picture is a perfect example.

The birthday girl is standing on a stool, she's so tiny & her nose crinkles when she smiles. BTW, the cake did fall over during the night. 🤣

I loved seeing all of these and yes that leaning tower of birthday cake is priceless!

I have 4 adorable grandkids but DD does not want them posted on the internet so just picture Girl (7) ,Boy(almost 6) ,Girl (3 almost 4), and Boy (almost 2) of absolute adorableness.

Today is DGD's birthday & this picture just came in. Her babysitter threw her a little party. Has she even changed clothes since Sunday? ;)

Oakley there was a period of time in the not so distant past when DD had to wash Andrew’s Lightning McQueen t-shirt every night because that’s all he would wear. (For the uninitiated that’s a character in the Disney juggernaut Cars franchise.)
