We are building a hill country type of home, with white stone and black metal roof. The barn/garage is not connected and was supposed to stand out with a cedar barnwood material... but we are concerned about the upkeep. Trying to find another material with the same type of look. Not opposed to metal that will patina or a hardy board - but wanted some more direction from others who have used it. Our renderings are attached to give you a better idea
