IMO plain old stainless so you can choose appliances for how you use them not because they all come from one maker in some color that matches. There is no maker that makes every appliance well FYI BTW when asking a question we need to see your stuff not some random pic.

Agree with @palimpsest - i would do a built-in fridge and DW, both paneled - if you’re doing a range there are lots of choices other than stainless but hard to suggest without knowing the rest of the space

DW is a dishwasher

DW = dishwasher.

Paneled dishwashers are generally no more expensive than a regular dishwasher except for the panel, but built in paneled refrigerators are quite a bit more than most refrigerators of similar size, so in the $10,000 range is ballpark. Subzero, GE Monogram, Bosch, Miele, Leibherr are some manufacturers of built-in panel-ready refrigerators.

I also vote for paneled fridge and dishwasher, for a more high-end look.

You are showing a stain and nothing else.

Stainless appliances work with every wood tone or paint.

You are doing a large budget kitchen, it has a layout, is all planned? Show it.

Show an inspo for the feel you want in the kitchen. Walnut can be traditional, it can be modern and sleek.

What is the cabinet style? Shaker, slab? something else?

The very fact that you asked what D.W is, That you were browsing "colors" for appliances?

This tells most of us, that you are not really familiar with kitchen design, and may or may not have a pro KD helping you.

You may want to post your kitchen plan. I mean no disrespect in saying that - but you don't want to find out you did not know, what you may NOT know.....after the kitchen is finished.

I love wood cabinets - and it is always my personal first choice. Personally, I like the idea of breaking up the wood with the appliances. So I wouldn’t, in most cases, spend the extra money for paneled appliances, and or to have panels installed over the appliances in a wood kitchen. If you panel the appliances in wood, you will have a lot of wood in your kitchen. But it all comes down to the look and feel you are going for in the space, and there is no wrong answer. Since I prefer to break up the wood element, I would spend that extra money on just getting good appliances and lighting and anything else. With the countertops you are planning to use, you could do stainless or white appliances. And white appliances with some gold detail might be fabulous.

ETA: not your exact wood color, etc. - but just the general idea with a white and gold refrigerator, etc.

Are you worried about the subtle streaks of gold mixing with SS (Stainless Steel) Appliances? Don't be, you can mix metals in kitchens nicely. I think SS or a Panel (matching cabinetry) on the DW and Refrig could be beautiful in the space you describe.

I ( like the rest of the gang here ) would love to see a floor plan or some other ideas about the space, the rest of the house and maybe even your selections. I see your link to ideas on the walnut but not sure if you are doing a more contemporary style or maybe a farmhouse style.

Because your kitchen is entirely open to your living room, I vote for panel DW, range hood, and fridge so they blend in and the room has more of a furnished feel and less of an appliance look. Stainless steel is fine for the range.

Should you decide against paneled, I'd go stainless for everything. Too many people are having problems matching their white appliances to other whites in the room.

If your budget is large, you could shop for a Blue Star range that comes in loads of beautiful colors such as this:

yes, I was thinking the same thing as it is mostly open. It isn't a huge kitchen either.

As others have posted s.s. appliances will go with most any wood tone.

It's the same floor plan as previous kitchen, as it isn't very large. So, an L shape based off the pictures.

It looks like a U-shape, including the peninsula. And laid out just fine.

I am wondering what a ” walnut-ish“ wood is.
