Taste test, Shark vs Dyson Upright vacuum

last month

My second Dyson upright corded vacuum which I loved finally bit the dust and fixing it wasn't an option. I went through two of them in 12 years. I looked on Az and the prices have gotten ridiculously high.

Three months ago a friend told me to buy an inexpensive Shark, so I did. The canister is smaller but it's no problem. Suction equals a Dyson, except it's better in the front and on both sides of the motorhead. Much better!

Have any of you made the switch? I was tired of spending $$$$ so I thought I'd give this one a try. Wins hand's down, unless it breaks next week. :)

Mine is Shark NV352 Navigator Lift Away Upright Vacuum, Hepa Filter, Anti Allergen, Swivel Steering, Ideal for carpet, stairs, & bare floors, with wide upholstery and crevice tools. $149.
