Ran new washer without pushing detergent tray in- did I break it?

Hi. Wondering if anyone knows appliances and can chime in on this.

I just bought a new washer (LG WT7150) to replace our 15 year old kenmore front loader that broke. I went to use it for only the 4th time today and realized after 10 minutes into the cycle that I forgot to push the detergent tray back in before starting. I paused the load and pushed it in. Upon opening the detergent was mostly gone. I’m not sure if the water level in the drum was correct or normal because this washer is new to me.

I’m so sad and worried I ruined this new machine. Would it cause damage for the machine to fill with the detergent tray pulled out?

Here’s the model in case it helps
