Coffee table to console help

Narrow Florida home. We're getting a TV, and I feel I either need a console under it (which might be nice for storage anyways), or put a couple of ottomans below it (for a place to rest our feet if we move them by the couch as needed). The thing is, I keep seeing different answers online as to how much space is needed between the coffee table and a console. Not a ton of space here, as seen in the picture. Would you put a console here, or poufs, or just hang a TV with nothing under it?

Does the coffee table have to stay? are you adding a rug? I think something to ground a TV would be nice. Maybe a narrow console with drawers to store remotes, etc. Swap out coffee table for some flat top fabric ottomans and then drink tables to the right of the chair and left of sofa. Maybe a narrow drink table/side table to on the slider side of sofa.

Coffee table has to stay, but I love the idea of the side table! On the pub chair side, or on the weird wood chair side?

You have options! Short answer is nothing has to match but it all needs to coordinate in some way. With that in mind, it can be more efficient to buy everything together but it's not your only option. Purchasing separates gives you a lot more room to personalize your space and buy pieces outside of a particular collection or even a particular store. If it is possible, bring samples of your upholstery fabric from your chairs and sofa or bring photos of your resources along with photos of your space and all other pieces in your family room when you go out shopping. Don't forget about photos (or samples when applicable) of any window treatments, ceiling fixtures, and hardware in the room. Look for ways to tie in all current and prospective finishes,colors, and textures. Often times, a knit throw blanket or woven rug can be your best opportunity to tie your full palette together. With your accent table selection, look for pieces of a similar style and/or similar finishes so you can ensure some cohesiveness with your new additions. When you get those pieces into your space then consider accessories and think about where you might need to bring your full furniture palette together, again, in color or finish combinations. I'd suggest you get a slim console for the TV 12"- 15" at most and definitely get a smaller coffee table or skip it altogether and add a side table. I've created a mock up of your space to help you visualize this better. I also think you could move the bookcase to the corner by the window and move one of your accent chairs to create a window seat. Might make a nice reading corner.

Fun! It looks like the rug helps to neutralize the wood in your LR a bit. Out of the ones you posted, I like the darkest one the best. UO has a couple of pieces that might work for you too. This one looks like it would coordinate with your coffee table. White would coordinate with all your pieces, but this one has open storage--not sure if you're ok with open. Do you need side tables on each end? I could see a side table on one end and a floor lamp on the other. Add a plant in your planter, and it will be a really nice space! Here's a stone side table. How high is your sofa arm? You'll want the table to be about that height so it's an easy reach. Every room needs a touch of black. Here's one with good texture and you can store things inside it.

I would say all seating needs access to a flat surface to put down a drink. If seated in the "weird wood" chair, it seems it would be hard to reach the coffee table to put down a drink. A drink table next to it would be nice. Or even a garden planter since you are in FL. Something without wood, imo

You can have both an ottoman and coffee table if you select a table that slides over the ottoman.

I would do a shallow cabinet for a bit of storge and do a upholseted bench for feet with a tray for drinks when needed I would do end tables there for sure instaed of a coffee table for all the seating. Make sure the cabinet you get is low enough to have the TV at proper viewing height so the center of the screen at eye level when you are seated
