Comments (4)I like BM Powell Buff. It's lighter than Wilmington Tan (which is a gorgeous, warm neutral beige color) so it would look nice in a stairway and black framed photos would look great against it. don't know about he wainscotting thread. sorry....See MoreI need advice for the new stairway
Comments (2)I am now thinking about just using sheetrock on the sides, with ceramic tile glued directly on it (in triangles with the steps). This way, there is no skirt, no trim/molding to worry about and it will be easu to clean the stairs, not worrying about hitting the sides. Opinions...???...See MoreNEED Metal Stairway Advice

Comments (4)Here is a pic of my staircase (Bottom pic) and an inspiration pic I found online. You can see where I marked inspiration pic up in red - shouldnt this Area (I think it’s called a riser) Be black to to make it cohesive? Also, what are some favorite black colors for this kind of project? Again, my home will be edgecomb gray. And I will have an oatmeal-y colored runner on my stairs.
