Hospital regulations require a wheelchair for patients being discharged. However, one student nurse found an elderly gentleman - already dressed and sitting on the bed with a suitcase at his feet - who insisted he didn't need any help to leave the hospital. After a chat about rules being rules, he reluctantly let the student nurse wheel him to the elevator. On the way down, she asked him if his wife was meeting him. "I don't know", he said, "She's still upstairs in the bathroom changing out of her hospital gown."

Nicole, your post reminded me of something that happened 20 years ago that still makes me laugh to this day. Every time I asked my oldest grandson (now 23) for a kiss, he would lean in for it and at the last second he would stick out his tongue and touch my lips. When I’d pull back and looked at him with eyes wide, he laughed hysterically. Every request for a kiss turned out the same. One day I decided turnabout was fair play and reversed the game. When he came in for the kiss, I stuck my tongue out. He looked at me, opened his mouth and said, “You licked my lick!” And then we both laughed!
