Rug Match-need runners
Looking for 1-2 runners that would work well with pictured rug. High traffic area. Thank you.

Would it be tacky to buy matching runners? It's a very small space. Or, matching style but different color/pattern or would that just be too distracting?

Comments (2)I think you need to do more with the top of the table versus getting one area rug. Don't keep the same runner; change it with the seasons to bring color and texture which you can't do with an area rug. Area rugs fix you to a space but when you don't have one it feels more flexible and open. I love the color of your floor and I think that's the star that can showcase an ever changing table top decor. Have fun with it because you're bringing in black chairs, taking out the only color you have which is the artwork. You need color do it with the table....See MoreRelated Professionals

10 months agolast modified: 10 months agoIf a longer one works, it will be heavier/less apt to move, especially in a high traffic area and will create a more unified/less broken up feel.
Style wise: simple, textured, no fringe, and on the darker side. I have a long heavy hemp rug in a high traffic hallway and it’s a workhorse. I think the look would suit your rug’s feel and will be easy to decorate around.
Wayfair (comes in many sizes) and you don’t have to go shopping! Sorry I couldn’t attach link.
