Is this bathroom connected to a bedroom ? I use a color scheme from a connceting bedroom for a guest bath .

Everyone has their own ideas, I always like a clean fresh look for the basics and change up the towels, etc as my interests change... especially in a guest space, seasonal, etc.

unless it is a huge bathroom, I would keep it light and fresh. Behr Day Spa or Behr Helium are fresh hints of color in a low light space.

The Dark wainscotting will close in the space, more suited to a dramatic powder room, rather than a proper bathroom.

That said, it's your space, and it's only paint... give it a try.

I had a dark blue green bathroom in my last home and loved it.

The color I used was Devine Color Steamer

it is very similar to BM Rushing River

I am planning on using Stonybrook in my current guest bath.

I do agree with Patricia, you want to use a color that works well with adjacent rooms.

I ended up doing just that , a light beige. :) thank you!
