I hope you have some $$$ because the best solution is to run custom drapes from the ceiling on down to cover the entire window on both sides and have them motorized so you can draw them at the push of a button. If you just want privacy and don't need light control, make them more sheer and gauzy or out of a nubby fabric....I'd love to see some texture in the space as right now it seems a lot of hard edges. I'm not good at this and I'm sure you'll get better suggestions than mine, but while I was reading this the first thing that popped into my head was to find either silk or linen drapes - depending on whether you want it very dressy or more casual - in a camel color that co-ordinates with your carpet and wood blinds - not an exact match, just something that works with carpet. That way you can always change your bed linens and wall color without changing your window treatment. Sky

We recently moved into a new home. I am trying to soften the room a bit with curtains. I do not need them for room darkening simply to add some softness and texture. What are thoughts on two small rods on each side with a sheer white panel? (I am still adding artwork etc. so I have a ways to go) Any input and suggestions are welcomed.
