My husband and I are going as well. I wonder if they will be selling Hosta Virus X ImmunoStrip. We recieved samples at the national last year which I used, no virus so far. I would like to test a couple more that I have from a suspect source, just for peace of mind. Beverly

Wish I could go. Ken, are you volunteering to take pictures? The Midwest Regional Hosta Society convention will be July 12-14 at the Par-A-Dice Hotel, East Peoria. The public may visit the show from 3-5 p.m. July 13 and 1-4 p.m. July 14. The vendor show, with newer and older varieties of hostas for sale, will be open to the public from 1-9 p.m. July 12, 1-5 p.m. July 13 and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. July 14. The seed growers show, featuring large new hosta cultivators, is open to the public from noon-5 p.m. July 13 and 14. A silent auction will close on July 14 at 5 p.m. and a live auction will be open to the public July 13 from 7:30-10 p.m. .
