What style of chair goes with this couch?

I would like to get chairs for either side of this couch. Do I need to stick with a particular style? Would a contempory style work with it? Thanks!

I just don't want a "discordant" look. ideefixe (a Francophile?) - That Anthropolgie sofa is exactly what I was thinking of but in chairs! palimpsest - I've always loved Art Deco, but never indulged in furniture just some accessories. Found an Art Deco fully upholstered chair (think club chair on steroids). It currently is upholstered in two solid fabrics - red and tan - that I would change to Ikat for the seat/back and a solid for the outside. 2 months agolast modified: 2 months agoYes you can do a contemporay chair but it would be nice to see the whole space . IMO the height of the back should be about the same .This is a good example of the back height

2 months agoWith a classic traditonal sofa you can use any style for side chairs. Are you looking for a lounge chair or pull up chairs? Here's some styles that would compliment your sofa:
