One thing I did forget to mention, when you're scribing the letters, do it on something cushie, like a mouse pad or a pad of paper. A hard surface won't work.

Saw everyone's comments on the other forum, glad you enjoyed seeing them. I really enjoy painting--don't know why my projects are so few and far between! Just procrastinate too much I think. Have a couple other Christmas things I want to get done and ready for next year, but I've also been going through my patterns for some Valentine's ideas. I need a couple of signs for outside, I hardly have any Valentines decos. Usually I like to put a little sign on my lamppost in the yard, on my side gate, and on the side door to the garage off my front patio for the holidays. Mostly have things for Halloween and Christmas so need to get busy and make some for these other holidays too. Anyone making any kind of crafts for Valentine's or St. Pat's? Did all of you see Oddie's baggie wreath with the red ribbon and little red hearts on it? And she posted a pic of bunny boxes that are so cute too. You can see them all on the crafts forum. Luvs

Hi Luvs :) Thanks for your enquiry! Well, I'm fine except I'm overbusy with all those courses, jobs and my online stuff but I'm fine. As for the weather... hmmmm... let's say one day the sun is shining, we have 100° F and we die from heat and the very next day it's only 50°F, it's raining and we die from cold ;-) Today, August 17th, 11.30 AM it's cold both outside and inside!!! Fortunately, Belgians have a strong healthy background otherwise we all would be dead now as the weather changes too often - we event don't know what to wear. However, I would say the Summer hasn't been as beautiful as it is since 2003... Hope next year we'll get the same Summer as 2003 with 3 sunny months and just what it takes in rainy nights to ensure good harvest - I miss sunny days a lot! Seems the weather in Kathleen's area isn't good either. I'm really sorry for her but I feel less alone in the bad weather, lol.

I just love starting projects apparently! This weekend I ripped up a little bit of carpet! Now, I will also say, I don't care if that plaster wall project stays just the way it is for the next 6 months. However, I DESPISE our carpeting (I don't really like carpet to begin with). A light colored berber the PO left, supposedly they had it cleaned, but it's DISGUSTING. And when my back hurts (a lot) I end up laying on the floor. I walk around with shoes on more often then not on because I hate the carpet. Last week I started thinking about getting a Dyson, refurb from overstock. Then I thought about getting the rug cleaned as well, I'm just that sick of it. And then I thought, I'll end up spending $600 minimum and I'll still hate it. I called mom =D She said, rip it up, if the floor sucks under it, call empire or get some throw rugs. You'll be out the same money and you won't hate it as much. So I started!! It was hard and dirty and frustrating and great! Now I just need some denatured alcohol. Apparently they didn't use drop clothes when painting =P I also got the first coat of paint up in the entry way (I DID use a drop cloth) and decided I will have to paint the trim as well, but I already like the room more. I'm going to have a busy and productive summer! Mom called a few hours later ... "you know, with your back you maybe shouldn't be doing this". I said, MOM! It's already done!
