There is no way to "figure" anything, without a diagram and exact inches for all of the built in, and the same exact left to right, top to bottom dimensions o the framed tv. Sixty five inches is a DIAGONAL measure.

More importantly? The built ins are really crowding the fire, visually. Perhaps time to let those go,.....trade for a spectacular console and some separation from the fire, entirely : )..........

Or ? You need a bit smaller tv or a different spot for the tv. We aren't seeing the entire room and all the angles so hard to say.

Leave one column of shelves inside the built ins, take the other out so there is one large space comprised of the middle and a former column space. Hang the TV in that area. You still have room for a row of shelves, get space for your TV, and is won't be much work.

We need more details on exact measurements for the TV and the openings and areas for potential. Also, what is outside the windows/ doors to the left of the mantle? Do you have a lovely view or one you prefer to hide? Do you need privacy? All these factors will play into what goes above the mantle and where to locate the TV. We also don't see any of the other walls in your room.

However, if the TV doesn't fit above the mantle (or if you're dealing with too much glare by the window/ door) so that it cannot be placed there, you still have other options. My pic shows the area I would say to cut out of the built ins - have it done professionally by a finish carpenter! Eliminate the top and bottom short shelves which are above and below the TV - it's too much visual clutter around the TV... you need it more open.

Some metal artwork like this could be nice - to tie in the outside of your home - maybe not exactly this, but it's a possibility IMHO.

You can usually delete your duplicates for a period of time.

To give you an idea, here is my 75" Frame TV inside my built-in. The TV is 66.5" wide and the console below is 77" wide.

You would need to find a cabinet maker to re-work your built-in, but you will need to look at the price difference of a re-work versus just starting over with a new piece that better fits this type/size of TV. If you start over you can get a bigger TV ... it looks like your room can handle a bigger one!

No reason not to have art over the fireplace with a Frame TV in the built-in.

We had this issue happen almost 20 years ago when TV sizes started expanding and our built-ins only accommodated a 39" TV. We had a carpenter come out and remove the upper shelves, just leaving the lower cabinets. You probably have room to leave some shelves, but you will want someone who is experienced with cabinet making to do the work, so it looks seamless in the end.
