vintage tub and bath will not get back to me

We ordered a $600 shower faucet with tub filler. On installation the plumber noticed manufacturers problem with the faucet right away. I emailed customer service and they responded to me asking for photos and an explanation of what we thought the problem was. It’s been two weeks now and I’ve sent multiple emails to figure out what the plan is…crickets. I’ll give it another couple of days and then it’s Better Business Bureau and a discussion with my credit card company. Anyone else had similar issues? Could the delay just be because of the holiday break? Trying to remain positive here.
