Help for kitchen design . backsplash for white quartz countertop

We selected the stain wood cabinet and white sand quartz as countertop and the hexagon white tile as backsplash. I want to know if the backsplash goes well with the cabinets and countertops? Any suggestions

Can you bring the cabinet, countertop, and tile samples home to see them in your kitchen’s lighting?

You might want to wait until the cabinets and the countertops are installed first and then bring tile samples home. That is actually the best way to choose.

When I was picking out my backsplash, I would bring home tile samples and then look at them throughout the day in natural light and at night with the lights on. I ruled out a number of choices that I thought for sure were absolutely going to be ”the one” while in the tile shop. Once in my kitchen‘s light they looked horrible, like a totally different color sometimes.

Btw, I love your wood cabinet choice. Beautiful!

the tile looks oversized. how about these similar tiles but smaller???

I think white would be a nice contrast. I've attached a link to a GW member's (kellienoelle) kitchen that used Delicatus granite & a classic white backsplash. @Beth H. - thank you for your comments. I don't think we want to have dark counter tops. The kitchen is open to our family room. The minimal wall space in the kitchen will be painted a light blue color, as will the walls in the family room. We were thinking about: a) white cabinets and island b) the Calacatta gold marble 3" x 6" tiles for the back splash c) light(ish) counter tops on the perimeter and island (perhaps with some grey coming through d) medium brown hardwood floors We thought about using walnut for the island surface, but decided against it due to maintenance issues. If we didn't want to have dark counter tops, are there any other options? Thanks!

Beth H, thank you again for your thoughtful suggestions! Unfortunately, as I am in Canada, I won't be able to buy from TileBar. But it is great just to see the possible choices. I totally understand how my inspiration photo and my actual kitchen are totally different, it is just that I thought possible to borrow one isolated concept... Regarding the flat side of the island - yes, it does have a shaker style trim same as on cabinets, so it definitely looks more finished than on my mockup :) So, to sum things up, you advise against using slab backsplash on the window wall, no matter what style of tile backsplash we decide to go with, right?
