Seriously? I just did a quick search of your name and it looks like for most of your posts, you've gotten anywhere from 12 to 49 responses. Your most recent post, from what I can tell, is the one about woodworking and you didn't get much response... I think it is because the "title" of your post is sort of confusing and doesn't tell us what you're actually looking for. I have heard someone else say this before and I think it's true -- if your title is specific, you will get more responses. Anyway, just my two cents. Now I'll go read your woodworking question and see if I have any answers!

I would fight tooth and nail for my TENS machine. Eric on the other hand does not like it for his back. I would recommend your son check with a chiropractor or PT person (they might be cheaper than an MD to make sure it is safe for him to use one. I crank mine up until the feeling of the electrical shock overpowers the pain, then I can function. You have to be very careful not to overdo things just because you may not be hurting as bad. I cannot drive on back pain meds and don't really like how they make me feel so this is a God's send! I reuse the electrodes- just put a band-aid across them when the sticky starts to go. One set (4) of electrodes lasted me the two months of recovery from the herniated disc. Below is a link to the unit I have. Thanks daisy...for the reply....of all people to respond..it would be someone with a sn of Daisy....before my sister passed away...we talked about what signs I would have that she was there...and she told me to when I saw Daisies...her fav flower... I had to smile at your name just now.... I have thought a lot recently about my situation.....posting here must be cathartic.... My husband has changed a lot......maybe too much for it to be normal...healthwise...I cannot help but wonder if there is something chemically imbalanced at this point.... There is no phys. abuse....but his personality makes me feel emotionally abused...certainly he thinks he is making good financial decisions...I am fearful if he does not come to terms with my concerns...he could lose everything.... I am convinced as well, that a urologist is giving him wrong doses of testosterone treatment...maybe not enough...or too much...something is not right and I need to find out.... My situation of feeling overwhelmed by this issue is not getting any better...maybe it will take a wake up call for him to understand he needs to either get more opinions of the treatment or stop them altogether....I realized when this began...and is consistent with those treatments beginning....the dr told him it would help his overall feeling of wellbeing....what a joke Thanks again for responding....my post is a difficult one to read and know how to respond to it....so much desperation in it...but I remember what the good witch in the wizard of oz told dorothy..."you had the power to go home the whole time"

Years ago I knew this lady and she went out and bought 3 different colored clothes baskets. One for each of her 3 kids. Each night, like clock work, the kids went around and picked up what was theirs and took it to their rooms and put it all away. They just did it every evening. The mom also would have all the pots and pans washed and put away that she cooked her meal in before they ever sat down to eat. This one I never did master. But the basket one was great.. She started young and made it a game. Soon the kids just did it on their own..
