Friends of Vintage Gardens- Giving Tuesday donations

Newsletter from FoVG:

Dear ****,

As we approach the season of giving, we're reaching out to you with a special opportunity to make a lasting impact. Giving Tuesday is in 6 days, and The Friends of Vintage Roses is asking for your help to raise $7,000 that will directly support our efforts in preserving and promoting vintage roses.

This year, The Friends of Vintage Roses has received a matching grant challenge from an anonymous donor that will enable you to double your impact! A member of our community has pledged to match all gifts up to $1,000 made before noon on Giving Tuesday. Please give any amount you can; every contribution, regardless of size, matters.

Here's how your generous contribution can make a difference:

Preservation: Simply put, we need your help because hundreds of varieties of old roses are in danger of becoming extinct. Your support will help safeguard these rare and endangered varieties of roses. Over 90% of donation dollars are spent on the care and propagation of the collection, and the maintenance of the garden that is home to these special roses.

Education: The Friends of Vintage Roses maintains a collection of more than 3,000 rose varieties that include many of the rarest and oldest of varieties and species that still survive. Together they tell a story of the hundreds of years of their impact on humankind. Your support will help us educate the public on their importance to human history, apothecary, cultures, technology and science.

Please join us on Giving Tuesday, November 28, and be a part of our mission to preserve these timeless but vulnerable treasures.

Here’s how you can contribute:

Your generosity plays a crucial role in the continued success of The Friends of Vintage Roses. Thank you for considering this opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our mission.

With heartfelt gratitude from The Board of The Friends of Vintage Roses,
